Abstract :
This is a summary of a wide area strategic power infrastructure defense system for the panel session, "Wide Area Measurements in Power Systems." A wide area power infrastructure defense system includes sensing, information, failure analysis, vulnerability assessment and self-healing controls. The proposed methodology is based on an adaptive multi-agent system with its agents organized into deliberative, reactive and coordination layers.
