Abstract :
There are hundreds of software metrics, but the majority of them are unsuccessful. There are also various software metric validation methods, which are even less successful. In this paper, we present a metric with some useful properties, like clearly defined critical, minimal and maximal values, and which are independent of the stage of the software product and the language in which it is written. It is hypothesized that a metric of this kind will be successful and, according to its features, easy to validate
