Abstract :
This paper analyzes a single axial permanent bearing and two kinds of symmetrical-mounted axial permanent bearings by ANSYS solving method of magnetic field. The effect of axial dimension and air gap length between two magnetic rings on axial restoring force and stiffness of bearings is calculated, which provides the foundation for further designing and guiding suggestion for application of permanent magnetic bearing constructed by magnetic rings.
