Abstract
The received signal strength indication is usually used to measure the distance between two nodes. There are random errors and outliers in the received signal strength indication. In order to overcome the two ranging error on the positioning accuracy of localized nodes in wireless sensor network. In this paper, the characteristic of the analysis of two errors is proposed based on a weighted value based on statistics in location algorithm. The proposed algorithm can reduce the effects of gross errors and filter random error, improve the accuracy of the positioning and coverage rate of nodes. The simulation results show that the experiment was a success and achieve the expected results.
