Abstract
This paper describes a multimedia teaching program developed at Monash University, intended to provide flexible delivery for a third year subject in power system. The contents of the program are lecture notes, tutorial, practical-based topics, solved and practical examples, and past examination questions. The program is available on a World Wide Web site for easier access by external students. The program progresses from organisational aspects of the subject, namely aims, objectives, syllabuses, assessment scheme, examination details to in-depth treatment of the topics with accompanying tutorials, practical demonstrations and suggestions for extension work. Solved examples, tutorial work, past examination questions, problem solutions are available from table of contents. Students without necessarily being physically present in power laboratory can use the program which has been developed within a personal computer environment
