Abstract
With the wide use of digital manufacture technology, the airplane digital assembly based on the examples can better solve these problems, such as the concurrent design of complex products, the assembly sequence, and the man -machine relationship, etc. This can also improve the quality of assembly and make maintenance more accurate and convenient. The research presents a design method of a certain type of airplane digital visual assembly and the principle of its realization. Based on the digital model of CATIA, a framework of the digital assembly is established on the platform of Visual C++. Then, after inputting the various information of the assembly components by use of C++, making the process motional by MAYA, the airplane digital assembly is fulfilled based on these information.
