Abstract
This paper develops a monitoring system of multi-rope hoist ropes tension in Auxiliary Shaft. It also improves the technique to weight the load for cage when the hoist elevates goods. It is that the difference between ropes tension before loading and ropes tension after loading is got as the load for cages to eliminate the inference of sensor´s hysteresis and zero drift. The system can diagnose failures such as over-loading, counterweight lacking, jam and make an alert.
