Abstract :
In order to clear about the major source, distribution and frequency characteristics of high speed trains exterior noise in operation, using the advanced noise identification and measure system of multi-channel microphone spoke array, the field tests of high-speed train noise were carried out. The results show that the major noise sources of high speed trains are wheel/rail rolling noise and the pantograph noise. Their center frequency band is 500Hz-1000Hz. The biggest noise acoustic pressure level of the head car is 73.0dB. Its main center frequencies are 500Hz and 630Hz. The sound production frequency band is 500Hz-1000Hz. The mid vehicle has no pantograph, of which the biggest noise acoustic pressure level is 77.0dB. Its major center frequencies are 1000Hz, 1250Hz and 1600Hz. The sound production frequency band is 630Hz-1600Hz. The pantograph car own three noise sources that are wheel/rail rolling noise, the pantograph noise and the aerodynamic noise induced by the foundation of pantograph. Among these noise sources, the pantograph noise is the most important, of which the biggest noise acoustic pressure level is 84.0dB. Its principal center frequency is 800Hz. The sound production frequency band is 500Hz-800Hz.
