Abstract :
A "modified wheeler cap" measurement method has been developed to determine the radiation efficiency of electrically small antennas. It is assumed that the losses of the "cap" (or cavity) itself are negligible. EM numerical simulations show that losses in the cavity can reduce the apparent measured efficiency of the antenna
