By the specific analysis of electricity consumption and water supply in nationwide universities, this paper clearly indicates the level of energy consumption recently in relevant area. Then, according to the different climatic zones, the universities are divided into four groups, such as severe cold, cold, hot summer and cold winter, hot summer and warm winter areas, so that we can analyze and focus on its different features on electricity consumption, water supply, energy consumption and structure of energy consumption. This paper finds that the water consumption of universities which are in different climatic zones tend to be relatively stable and the universities in hot summer and cold winter, hot summer and warm winter areas consume relatively more amount of electricity energy. As to the total energy consumption, the universities in severe cold and cold areas mainly consume primary energy and theirs demands are greater than other climatic areas.
