Abstract
The paper presents the results of simulation verification of trust-based protection mechanism (TUBE) to attacks on a reputation systems. The authors give a short description of TUBE scheme and present a review of typical reputation attacks. The TUBE scheme supports the MANET nodes operations allowing assessment of the nodes surrounding and use of this information to increase the safety and efficiency of communication processes. The results of simulation experiments performed for complex military scenarios confirm the robustness of the TUBE scheme. The proposed solution significantly reduces the vulnerability of MANET networks used in a hostile and disruptive environment and protects against degradation of the network resources.
