Abstract :
The three dimensional positioning system with a satellite announced in 1983 by the Department of Defence of America came to be used in various applications owing to its reliability and convenience. The more the general use of the positioning technology progresses, the more demands made by its users.Among the studies that utilize the carrier as the positioning method, the positioning method utilizing the carrier produces the best results as in the precision of point. However, the positioning method utilizing the carrier is coupled with so many limitations that there is not much pervasiveness of use of the method observed in real world. Our study is based on the investigation of the problems encountered during the implementation of the positioning method utilizing the carrier and the degree of its convenience.
