Abstract :
Over the past ten years, we have seen a steady increase in the use of digital protection and control devices in the substation environment. In order to meet the present and future demand for efficient utilization and operation of substation equipment, it is anticipated that the trend for increased automation will continue using the latest technology. In this Panel Session, each panelist introduces and discusses the latest trends in digital protection relays and substation automation systems by country or area.
