Abstract :
Current research and developments of the abrasive water jet process control were reviewed in this paper. The methods used to monitor the abrasive particles suction process, the water orifice condition, the focus tube condition and wear were reviewed and their advantages and disadvantages were also analyzed, respectively. The expert system with neutral network method was suggested to monitor more than one cutting parameter in order to optimize the cutting process.
