Abstract :
An object-oriented data and knowledge base system, TRANSBASE, based on original parallel computing techniques has been proposed. Its implementation in a transputer multiprocessor environment provides up to 17 times decreasing the execution time of the database processing problems on 3 transputers complex, if compared with standard tools
