Abstract :
One of the advantages of all-optical transport networks is the transparency. The aim of this paper is to investigate the transmission of SCM video signals through a WDM all-optical network. In order to do that, we exploit an analytical model of transmission through the network, allowing the SCM carrier-to-noise-ratio (CNR) to be evaluated taking into account numerous transmission impairments
