Abstract :
Books classification is an important and complicated work in libraries. In order to improve the speed and accuracy of books classification, fuzzy mathematics theory is applied in books classification and a method of books classification based on fuzzy mathematics theory is proposed in this paper. Subject function is used to denote the subjection degree of books to the classes. The characteristics and contents of books are shown by quantity. The matrixes used in books classification are easily realized in computer. So, the speed and impersonality degree of books classification is elevated rapidly. Experimental results prove that we can realize books classification quickly and exactly using this method.
