Abstract :
Firstly, this paper presents the conversion principle from progressive to interlaced based on 2:2 and 2:3 pulldown technology in 1080 high-definition television system, focusing on the technology background of the conversion and characteristics of progressive segmented frame transmission, then introduces several de-interlacing algorithms of digital video and its advantages and disadvantages. The final section introduces the differences between the signals after conversion and the native progressive or interlaced signals.
