Abstract :
The design and implementation of network camera based on embedded Linux system and the TMS320DM356 processor is put forward which can be operated on 5-megapixel. At 30 frames per second in full frame rates, It is the video stream up to 2Mbps bit rate to provide resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The sampled video stream which compressed and encoded by the protocol of H.264 can be transferred in the network applied with the real-time transport protocol (RTP) and Real-time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP).
