Abstract :
With considering the misalignment exciting force of the gear coupling and nonlinear short bearing forces models, the dynamic model of rotor-bearing system under unbalance was set up. The vibration equations of the system were obtained. By the numerical value integral method, the system´s nonlinear dynamic characters were investigated under misalignment exciting force of the gear coupling. From the results of the numerical simulation, the misalignment has complex effect on the system. It is also found that there are periodic motion, quasiperiodic motion and chaos motion in the coupled system. The results can be used to recognize misalignment faults and give some guidance to alignment.
