Abstract :
Integrated performance index method is an effective way of contingency screening. The author reunites the table of integrated performance indexes by screening both beginning and ending of lines, and represents a classification method of contingency severity on different places of lines by reusing this table. It can solve the problem of using the table only one time to analyze the transient stability of power system, simple and has a high accuracy. So it can meet the needs of application on project and research.
