Abstract :
A dielectric-loaded conical horn exhibiting improved radiation characteristics - low cross-polarization and side-lobes levels, pattern symmetry and good front-to-back ratio-is proposed. The dielectric insert is simpler than the ones proposed in two earlier papers, and is therefore easier to design and fabricate. The proposed horn may find wide applications in modern low cost high performance systems.
