Abstract :
Based on the GPS, this paper researches hydrographic dredging system with the industrial computer and the VC++ development tool on the Windows XP platform. The system concludes real-time GPS data acquisition, GPS coordinate transformation, ship track display and navigation with lofting line. It can be widely applied to dredging projects in order to improve the positioning accuracy and the automation degree of dredging vessels.
