Abstract :
A computer-aided parameter extraction technique for a microwave PCS ceramic filter is presented in this work. The technique is based on first electromagnetic principles and exploits the capabilities of the "field calculator" integrated in the commercial software package HFSS. The main advantage of this technique is its suitability for analysing structures of arbitrary geometry and materials
