Abstract :
The finite element dynamic analysis model of the spindle assembly was developed based on thermoelasticity and finite element method. The force and the thermal value of spindle were calculated. The static and dynamic characteristics were analyzed. The modal, frequency, stress and displacement were obtained. The influence of spindle structure and parameters on spindle dynamic characteristics was discussed, further, the weakness of spindle structure was founded. Analysis result provides foundation for optimization of machining spindle system in future.
