Resident consumption structure transition is an important aspect of economic growth mode. Because there is unbalanced economic development between different regions in China and there is also difference in social and cultural characteristics of local residents, there is no uniform mode for consumption transition. For urban residents in Henan Province, we should advocate increase the proportion of food and education expenditure in consumption structure and optimize consumption and expenditure structure.
