Abstract
In this paper, we present an approach to building an adaptive Web site based on user access patterns. Our purpose is to build an adaptive Web site by automatically changing the site structure and make users find the information they desire within a minimum amount of time. Preprocessing, user access patterns and site reorganization are main three steps in this study. This research has been evaluated on a large Web site. Experiments show that the approach is feasible and effective for building an adaptive Web site based on user access patterns
