Abstract :
The analyses of machining allowance of the auto-panel die blank casting in rough processing was discussed in this paper. And a method was developed to get the roughly uniform allowance and the excessive allowance was transferred to the bottom plane of the cast blank, which can be cut rapidly by the general machine tool with the large feed & high removal rate process. An analyses example of metal allowance of a punch part blank surface was given to improve quality of the surface process.
