Abstract :
In this paper, the patent data until May 21, 2011 has been analyzed from the database with the “Patent Cooperation Treaty” of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). We focus on the data from year 2001-2010, give an in-depth analysis to the trends, distribution, enterprise competition force, IPC categories in terms of the field of LED lighting technology patent and compare the status in the field of LED patents home and abroad. This paper showed the status and competitive situation in the LED industry area, providing a very useful reference both for the policy-making in the area as well as decision-making for the related business.
