    The mapping method is one of the important means of system safety management, with which the safety manager can easily master the accident rule that provide an analytical basis for security managers to make a decision. The paper gives five mapping methods: histograms, primary and secondary charts, trend charts, diagrams, causal diagrams and charts and introduces concept, draw program and role of each method in the management. Graphics analysis by computer has advantages of high accuracy, fast speed, and easy operation, which is a very effective tool for casualty accident analysis. Finally based on data of No.1 Coal Mine of Pingdingshan the application example is given.
