As one of the pillar industries in national economy, automobile industry ought to grow up and become stronger through technical innovation. This paper explores the similarities and differences between two technical innovation modes, which are concluded from Chery and Geely separately, including innovational dynamics and performance. This may be explained by the endowment of resources, the diversification of capital and the investment of R&D. At last, we realize that we should go on this study to obtain more information and evidence.
