Abstract :
In this work, based on the information of high concentration phenol-wastewater that was produced in the pyrogenation process of oil shale to prepare shale oil, Shale Oil phenol-wastewater was replaced by phenol and methyl phenol simulation wastewater. Experiments were used to investigate effect of one methyl phenol on phenol extraction yield from simulation wastewater by using two kinds of extraction solvents-Tertiary Amyl Methyl Ether (TAME) and Butyl Acetate, and compared the absorb-phenol capability of the two kinds of extraction solvents. Experiments were carried out at different temperatures and phase ratios (wastewater and extractant). The results indicated that the extraction rate of phenol almost increased at first and then decreased with the decreasing of the phase ratio. At the same time, the extraction rate of methyl phenol reduced all the time generally. According to experiments, we also got that Tertiary Amyl Methyl Ether (TAME) was the better extractant than Butyl Acetate.
