Abstract :
The pollution of Coal dust is one serious problem which will harm to human health. Chemical dust suppressants can effectively prevent and control dust pollution. A suppression agent - modified starch grafted acrylic acid was prepared. The compressive strength and the bond strength were measured to determine the optimal conditions for synthesis of the suppressant. IR spectra results show that: the reaction of graft polymerization occurred. The performance of resistance to wind and rain of the suppressant was measured and satisfactory results were obtained.
