            Abstract : 
We demonstrate experimentally for the first time a significantly increased threshold for stimulated Brillouin scattering using the duobinary modulation format. Measured thresholds are 17.3 dBm at 2.5 Gbit/s increasing linearly to 23.9 dBm at 10 Gbit/s
