Abstract :
Water hammer is one of the important factors which influence safety operation of long distance pressurized water transmission pipeline projects. The air valve set has fast air inflow velocity and slow exhaust velocity, which can effectively suppression water hammer of pressurized water delivery pipeline. This paper sets up the math model of hydraulic transients analysis on different install types of air valve set. The results can be referenced by research on safeguard procedure of pressurized water transmission pipeline.
