Abstract
The Duncan-Chang model is a nonlinear elastic constitutive model that is most widely used in geotechnical engineering. In this paper, we used examples to demonstrate that the value assignment and match of relevant parameters in a constitutive model greatly influence the applications and engineering calculation of the model.
