  • Abstract
    To provide qualified steam and effectively improve the steam-water separation performance of corrugated plates, It is necessary that study on flow characteristic of wet steam condensation in corrugated plates separator. In this paper, classical nucleation theory and droplet growth mode is used to describe the process of steam condensation in corrugated plates. Water droplets condensing model was adopted to simulate the water condensation process. The results show that: (1) In corrugated plates, the nucleation rate increases gradually with temperature of the wet steam increasing. (2) the quality rate of steam condensation decrease gradually along the flow direction; (3) The quality rate of steam condensation increases with the increase of the pressure gradient.
