Abstract :
A method of dimension chain by computer aided design is proposed in this article, this method can ensure assembly precision requirements, and design optimally dimension chain, Taken common assembly requirement of components of the second axis of reducer as example, this article introduce how to devise and calculate parts´ dimension tolerance when assembly by computer aided design to reach requirement of controlling assembly gap, such as how to establish information library of computer aided design, each required element in design are expressed by a information matrix, computer programming by MATLAB according to related formula of calculated dimension chain, thus engineers can get rid of complicated design calculations.
