  • Abstract
In order to monitor the hit and run automobiles effectively, it´s necessary to optimize the traffic video surveillance network. The main work is choosing the directions of the monitors in the traffic video surveillance network to minimize the number of safe roads which are not monitoring. Based on the analysis of the traffic road network and traffic video surveillance network, a method based on genetic algorithm is designed to solve the optimization problem. The experiment results show the model and the algorithm are effective.
