Abstract :
In this paper, the electromagnetic scattering of chiral body is analyzed by the newly developed generalized transition matrix (GTM). The scattering characteristics of a chiral body is represented as a GTM which describes the relationship between incident fields and scattered fields on a reference surface. The chiral body´s scattered fields which are previously calculated by the method of mements (MoM) with Schaubert-Wilton-Glisson (SWG) basis functions based on volume integral equations (VIE) and volume meshes can be now calculated by Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) basis functions based on surface meshes, thus reducing the number of unknowns and analyzing complexity in a large system.
