Abstract :
Top priority has been given to the application of water scenery in garden since ancient times. In the view of Ecology and Aesthetic, indigenous plants in the construction of water landscape have such advantages as strong adaptability, anti-pessimum and forming regional landscape, etc. And using indigenous plants are able to achieve rustic, natural effect. Therefore, suitable species of indigenous plants for application in water landscape were discussed in this essay. Meanwhile, the application modes of them in water landscape, including river, rivulet, lake and pond, etc, were also discussed.
