Abstract :
For the design of industry building, it is necessary to combine the equipment system with structure system into structure-equipment coupled system in some cases. It can accurately show the interaction between structure and equipment. According to the earthquake disaster phenomena of equipments, the failure modes and failure criteria are researched. The seismic performance levels and fortification objects of structure-equipment coupled system are presented. The failure criteria of structure-equipment coupled system are also analyzed. Finite element analysis on the direct air cooled condenser platform is done. According to the numerical calculation and the test data, the seismic performance objectives for the direct air cooled condenser platform structure-equipment coupled system are presented, which can be employed by the structural design.
