Abstract :
This paper presents an approach to design a novel dual-band power divider based on coupled-lines. The proposed circuit features a simple planar structure with wide bandwidth performance for small frequency ratio. Closed-form design equations with one degree of design freedom are derived using even- and odd-mode analysis. For verification purpose, both simulated and measured results of a microstrip power divider operating at 2.4/3.8 GHz are shown.
