Abstract
This paper describes the first demonstration of phase-sensitive semiconductor optical amplifier having an internal pump source. The pump laser is phase-locked to the input signal light by optical injection locking. A signal light with pseudo-random bit pattern is amplified in a nonlinear optical loop mirror configuration
