Abstract
A new method of microwave diplexer design is presented. The method is based on accurate channel filters synthesis using surrogate models of coupling coefficients in order to obtain initial structure dimensions. This is followed by a full-wave optimization of channels filters. Final tuning after assembly is limited to one element only.
