Abstract :
E-learning plays an important role in higher education. The objective of the paper was to design an e-learning system for China´s nonstastical students to increase their knowledge of statistics. The paper presented a case study describing the development of an e-learning system of statistics in China. The outcome of the paper is an e-learning system which can provide more friendly and effective ways for China´s nonstastical students to increase their knowledge of statistics and improve the quality of the statistical education in China. But the problems which may arise in e-learning systems are still manyfold. This paper made an attempt to address the fundamental issues of the efficient designing and use of e-learning platforms in teaching statistics.
