Abstract :
This paper presents an implementation of the total-field/scattered-field (TF/SF) technique in the 2-D LOD-FDTD method. The presented TF/SF implementation can be performed either by the field correction or equivalent current source approach to zone the entire FDTD lattice into the TF and SF regions. Both approaches produce similar update equations, although the latter approach is simpler to implement. Numerical results are presented to validate the implementation of the TF/SF technique in the 2-D LOD-FDTD method.
