An investigaion of building energy conservation technologies education

The awareness of architecture students on building energy efficiency technologies plays a key role on the building energy conservation. A survey has been carried out to investigate the awareness of building energy efficiency technologies in architecture students in Zhejiang University of Technology. The survey results indicate that architecture students have insufficient knowledge of building energy conservation technologies. Furthermore, architecture student have low ability of using building energy efficiency technologies. Base on the survey results, two measures have been proposed to architecture education. It is our expectation that the research results of this paper provide reference to architecture education reformation leading to enhance architecture students´ ability of using building energy efficiency technologies.
