Abstract :
Today´s market is a continuing demand for either improvements in existing products or the development of new products to meet the ever increase in performance. Based on our evaluation of the market while keeping these key points in mind we defined four areas of opportunity that could help the coil winding industry in the use of flat or ribbon sections: insulation integrity; form factor; edge contour; and high temperature insulations and adhesives. These four areas are discussed
