This paper is intended to act as a tutorial for readers who want to learn more about coated electrical fiberglass sleeving and heat shrinkable tubing. It also serves to update readers on the activity of the NEMA Sleeving and Tubing Technical Committee regarding work done during the last two years which have lead to the production of new binational standards for coated electrical sleeving and extruded (including heat shrinkable) tubing
